In Loving Memory
Slick Hall
January 1991 - December 31, 2007

New Year's Eve, we said "Goodbye" to our dear family member, Slick. We adopted Slick in July of 2006 at the age of 15 1/2 years old. He was an awesome dog who knew how to win friends and influence people. Slick taught all of us that just because someone is old doesn't mean they have lost their value. He enriched our lives with his laid back attitude, sweet spirit, and fun antics. Slick will be well remembered by those he vacationed with this past summer - his snores in his chair were the perfect addtion to those rainy afternoons when we played board games! Lucy has lost a daytime napping partner, and the vet has lost a 25lb medical miracle. Slick is a testament that anyone's heart can grow a little bigger and a little softer with the addition of an adopted pet. In Slick's memory, we ask that you consider adopting a slightly older dog next time you add a furry family member. They are past expensive initial shots, are usually house-trained already, have grown past the puppy chewing stage, and - most importantly - have lots of love to give.

P.S. A BIG thanks to CityVet Uptown (Dallas) for all of your support, love, and kind care of Slick. Dr. Thompson and staff went WAY above and beyond for Slick.
