THE HALLS GO TO WASHINGTON
Last week, Billy and I had the pleasure of going to the D.C. area to see our friend Julie get married. The ceremony was beautiful. It was set at Shenanadoah National Park. The scenery and weather were enough to make me want to move to Virginia. Have you ever been to an outdoor wedding in August where the high was 75 degrees? Below is a video of Julie and Mike enjoying their wedding cake.
While we were there, we decided to take a few days to see the sites and visit our hometown friend, Meredith. Since Meredith works for Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, she was able to give us a special tour of the Capitol.
Also, Sunday, we were able to see even more of the capitol city with Stephanie and James Thomas, who had also come in for the wedding.
If you have never been to our Capitol, I strongly urge you to go. The only thing you will regret about your trip is not having more time to see it all.

Meredith looks fabulous! I haven't seen her in like fifty years...or five...or something like that. Meredith in politics, funny...I didn't see that coming. j/k ;D Glad to see ya'll had fun. Congrats to Julie!!
