Rhyme time:
Mass evacuation,
Unbelievable devastion.
Water got high,
Washed a way of life by.
Life seemed strange,
It was full of change.
People pitched in,
Hearts started to mend.
With God we overcame strife,
Moved on with life.
Those lost we pay respect,
As on this anniversary we reflect.
Thank you all for your aid,
So great a kindness cannot be repaid.
